How to add WhatsApp product enquiries to WooCommerce
Let customers ask about a specific product without confusing a WhatsApp conversation with a paid, confirmed order.

A product-enquiry button is useful when customers need to confirm a size, availability, delivery area or a product detail before purchasing. Keep the normal product information and checkout visible. The button should offer another contact route, rather than hide the purchase journey.
Write a short message that includes the product name and its page URL. Ask the customer to add the detail you need, such as the preferred size. Do not put personal customer information into a public link.
Install and configure the plugin
DirectCart Enquiries for WooCommerce is a free plugin available from the product page on this site. Download its ZIP, then in an administrator account open Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Select the ZIP, install it and activate it. Use a staging copy first when you are changing an active store.
Open WooCommerce → DirectCart Enquiries. Enter the business number with country code, without spaces or the plus sign, and choose the message and button text. Use a number that your team can actually monitor. Check the current requirements and release notes on the product page before installation.
Test the whole conversation
Open a product on a phone and on a desktop. Check that the button does not cover the price, variation controls or Add to Cart. Confirm that WhatsApp opens the correct number, that Arabic text reads properly and that the message refers to the product you viewed.
A WhatsApp message does not by itself reserve stock, record a WooCommerce order or collect payment. Confirm availability and delivery with the customer, then direct them to your normal checkout or agreed order process.
Measure useful enquiries
Track button clicks separately from completed orders. A click is an enquiry opportunity, not revenue. Compare which products generate questions and update unclear descriptions, shipping information or size guides. That can reduce repetitive messages and make the store easier to use.
